Question: Tell us a little bit about yourself and where you live.
Answer: My name is Duncan, nickname Maky. Lots of people ask, "What's the connection between the two names?" Well, Maky is actually the same meaning for Monkey. My grandma used to call me that name since I was a little boy. Everytime she called me up, it will sounds like this "Monkeyyyy Boyy. Makyyy Boyy." Cute right? My childhood are awesome, like totally awesome, but not that awesome for the maid. Cause i'm being so naughty and active all the time and the maid will keep on chasing me here and there. Lol. How I miss that moment. Maky is also my glamour name among my family, relatives, and friends. I'm 18 for sure, 94's batch. I'm a boy that likes fashion, like a lot! Its funny when a boy that a shopaholic right? Well, thats me. Im a shopaholic. I dont do blogging like everyday. I do blogging when my mood is, ok. Oh wait, where I live? I live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Question: How did you first get interested in fashion and why is it important?
Answer: I think I first got into fashion life when I was about 15 or 16. I get the fashion idea is from Tumblr, from those fashion website and etc. I keep on observing worldwide fashion, how the American dress up, how the people in Korea dress up. So I was like "Why dont I just combine any fashion from other country and suit myself?" So yeah, thats where I started to get interested to fashion. Its from Tumblr! Thanks to Tumblr. I think fashion is important
because it has the
intrinsic ability to make people feel good about themselves and express themselves. Fashion can inspire. To see someone wear something they love and the self - confidence they can gain from being happy about themselves - that's priceless! Some people, their self-confidence is based on what they are wearing; the color of the shirt, the pants, is it fit enough or not and so on. For me, fashion is unique.

Question: What are your passions?
Answer: I love all things creative. I love fashion, graphic design, photography. I like styling outfits, sketching (I'm bad at drawing, but I understand what I am trying to convey at least even though its not like what I wanted!), experimenting with my DSLR, editing photos, etc. I absolutely LOVE vintage things. If you see me in 10 years, I'll probably be some kind of vintage hoarder. I'll probably have cupboards full of old cameras and vintage stuff; such as straight cut pants, belt, oldies shirt. Vintage - Its old, but cool. I hope to bring all my interests together and be able to work in a job that I am passionate about.
Question: Where are you from?
Answer: I'm from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia for sure. I've lived here all my life and for me it's one of the best cities to live in the world! Cause its full of flora and fauna. The island are totally cool and awesome. What can I say is, fresh air comes from here. Paris is one of my favorite cities in the world. Cause its a city of romance, and I wanna find out how the people in paris romance. Lol, I joke. But yeah, I never been there before but I wish to go there.
Question: What do you love about living in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia?
Answer: What a good and perfect question. Well, I love the fresh air and opened spaces! I think we take it for granted sometimes. And what I love the most is, the island. I mean, the beautiful island! Its totally WOW me up. Cause I will surely go for a scuba diving in the island. Unfortunately, I never had the chances to go for a scuba diving :( And in Sabah, we have the tallest mountain in Asia, its Gunung Kinabalu. But, easy say. Sabah is cool.
Question: What is the first thing you look at in another person's outfit is?
Answer: Probably the way he/she combine the style.
Question: What is your favorite color?
Answer: It definitely will be, blue! For some quite times, I like white too.

Question: What can't you live without?
Answer: My family, lover and friends. Food would be an obvious one & fashion, my cellphone and internet!
Question: Next place you want to travel to and why?
Answer: Without a doubt, Paris! I don't just want to travel there, I want to live there. If only I can. I want to immerse myself in the culture, try out those huge-sized meal portions that everyone talks about, shop my heart out, visit the markets, rent an apartment, study there and the most important is, have a picnic at Eiffel Tower. The city is so beautiful and I really can't get over that. If only I can.

Answer: Be ourself. We have to proud that we are born perfectly.
